- English Words – names, phrases, biblical psalms
- Architecture – places and spaces that matter
I invite you to explore via the underlined text above. ❤️
If what you are looking for falls outside of what can be found above, drop me a line at my email for a consult.
2. How do I request a custom piece?
You can fill out the commission forms available on the respective pages listed above or send me an email with your idea. These forms will be available when a commission cycle is open. Once I hit capacity, the cycle closes and the forms will be made unavailable.
3. How does commission pricing work?
Each embroidery commission is priced based on size, complexity, and the level of creative development involved.
I offer three pricing tiers— Essential, Interpretation, Interpretation-Expanded.
These tiers range from smaller, idea-specific pieces to large, narrative-driven works with deep research and detailed stitching. It also acts as a guide to help you understand what’s possible and plan your budget.
4. Will I get to see a draft/sketch before you start stitching?
Yes, always — I’ll send you a digital sketch of your custom design before I begin. As I try my best to create something you will love and treasure for a long time, there will be 2 complimentary revisions per commission piece. If you need more revisions, additional design fees may apply.
5. How long does it take?
Your piece will be created during the month you choose while filling up the form. Concept sketches are usually sent out around last week of the previous month to first week of the next month. (For example, if your request was for February, your sketch will likely be sent to you in late Jan-early Feb) Any delays will be conveyed or you can always reach out anytime to check in.
If you have a special date in mind, feel free to let me know — I’ll always do my best to make it work.
While I aim to meet all agreed timelines, the artistic process can occasionally require extra time to ensure the best result. I appreciate your patience and understanding as I give each commission the attention it deserves. ❤️
6. Can I buy a ready-made piece instead?
Yes! While rare, I do release one-of-a-kind or small batch pieces in my shop. You can follow me on Instagram, @curlyheadmakes to know when new work will be available.
7. Do you ship internationally?
Yes — I ship worldwide. Shipping fees vary depending on your location and will be included in your quote.
