Thank you so much for stitching up memories that I hold so close to heart. My friend directed your post to me the moment you posted it. Words cannot explain how touched and happy I am to have this piece with me. Thank you for embroidering my grandpa with so much intent and meticulousness, I see so much of him through your lines and stitches, which made me cry a tad bit too hard the moment it was gifted to me. 🥲And there was abit of my late grandma in it too, that green jade bangle u embroidered was what I inherited from her after her passing 10 years back. This piece is whole and complete in my heart. 💕💕💕

I commissioned a custom-made pair of Chinese names embroidery, and could not be more pleased about the delivered product! I wanted to incorporate quite a few symbols and colors into the embroidery, and am amazed that not only was it was ALL achieved, but the design completely exceeded my expectations given my rather complicated brief. Mavis captured all that I asked for in a beautifully artistic way. I had a couple of rounds of edits with Mavis, who was patient and thoughtful about my feedback. I could tell she put a lot of heart into it, because it showed in the embroidery – simply beautiful! I wanted something the kids could keep for a long time, and true to form, they really love it too. Mavis! I’ve received it!
I’m so happy and touched with the end product. The blue colours that you’ve chosen are the same shades as his rompers. Will remind me of his baby days in future. The golden thread for the sun really adds sparkle to the piece. The rainbow is so beautiful. And lastly, the bear is so well stitched with the right shade.
