The vibrant and bold colours were intended to carry the positive energy to welcome the everyday blessings.

Maker’s Notes
  • While 福 is traditionally depicted in shades of red and gold, I chose to introduce blue into this piece. The unexpected colour pairing may feel slightly at odds - it was intended to reflect the reality that life does not always unfold as planned.

    Fortune is not only found in moments of celebration—it is also found in the resilience to adapt and the grace to embrace uncertainty.

Each embroidery hoop is carefully handcrafted using a beautifully patterned blend of cotton, linen, and flax, and is double-lined with 100% cotton muslin for added structure and longevity.
