This workshop is an invitation to experience embroidery as heart-to-hand work β€” a space with no pressure to rush, only room to learn and enjoy the process.

During this 3-hour session, you will learn:

  • How to transfer a design

  • Proper threading and knotting techniques

  • Five foundational stitches: satin, split, French knot, seed, and loop

  • How to neatly finish your embroidery piece

*SkillsFuture credits are not applicable.

Maker’s Notes

Embroidery is a slow craft with the process made even slower when you are picking up new techniques/skill. You are unlikely to complete the piece during the workshop. The intention is for you to be equipped with the techniques and confidence to continue at your own pace.


Come as you are. All materials will be provided with tools like scissors being shared.

Location

While it is usually near Beauty World MRT, location is subjected to changes depending on availability. Accessibility will be prioritised as far as possible.

Final confirmation will be sent via email by the Wednesday of the workshop.

Workshop Policy

Workshop bookings are non-refundable due to limited spaces, advance venue booking, and preparation of materials.
Prefer a private workshop?

Private workshops are perfect if you have a group of friends who want to pick up hand-embroidery together in a cosy setting.

  • By experience, sessions are best for up 4 pax, for optimal guidance.
  • Option to top up for customization like characters & colours.
